MECHANICS

•             Open to all dog lovers and their pets, residing in Metro Manila only.

•             For every P300 purchase of any pet products from any participating Hobbes and Landes branches (Bonifacio High Street, Greenbelt 5, Rockwell Power Plant and Greenhills Promenade), entitles a customer to join the photo contest.

•             Submit via email at mail@hobbesandlandes.com your dog’s most photogenic picture with your name, age, email address, contact number and corresponding Hobbes and Landes’ official receipt number with a short photo caption (2 to 3 sentences and not exceeding 1,000 characters) about the photo.

•             Each participant can send up to a maximum of 3 photos. A participant may only win once. Each photo must be 200 dpi or larger and must not be taken by a professional photographer/studio.

JUDGING & RESULTS

•             “Like” Hobbes & Landes page on Facebook.

•             Hobbes and Landes will post in its Facebook fanpage a photo album for all submitted photo entries at 12:00 noon of October 8, 2011. The voting duration will be on October 8 until October 12, 2011.

•             The three (3) photo entries who garnered the highest number of ‘likes’ will be automatically included in the Top 12 finalists who’ll have their pets featured in the pet calendar.

•             The rest of the photos will be judged based on the following criteria: Photogenic Qualities (40%); Composition of Photo (35%); Overall Charm and Appeal (25%).

•             Announcement and awarding of winners will be done live on October 16, 2011 during the PET APPRECIATION WEEKEND. Participants of the photo contest are highly encouraged to come during the event.

PRIZES

•             The 12 Finalists will get a chance to be photographed by Ms. Denise Tabuena-Lumbad of Pet Photography (http://petphotographybydenise.com) and they will be included in Hobbes and Landes’ limited edition calendar for the year 2012-2013.They will also receive gift packs from Hobbes and Landes & the event sponsors.

RULES & TERMS

By submitting entries to the contest, participant verifies that he/she is the photographer and copyright holder for each photo submitted and has the legal authority to assign reprinting rights to Hobbes and Landes for the purpose of this contest. Participant may not submit photos that have been taken by another professional, thereby not having the proprietary rights to the photo.

By participating in the contest, participants agree to allow Hobbes and Landes to display/post submitted photos on the website/Facebook or other social networking sites /events wall for the purpose of: a) showcasing the submissions and/or results of this contest, b) promoting this or future photo contests and c) inclusion in Hobbes and Landes’ limited edition calendar for the year 2012-2013.
